Welcome to The Drip Dry Cleaner! By accessing our website, using our services, or engaging with us in any way, whether in-store, online, or via pickup and delivery, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

  1. General Information

The Drip Dry Cleaner (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a laundry and dry cleaning service provider based in Canton, Michigan. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Dry cleaning
  • Wash and fold laundry
  • Basic alterations
  • Shoe cleaning and shining
  • Pickup and delivery of garments and items

These Terms apply to all users of our services, including walk-in customers, delivery clients, and online users.

  1. Service Agreement

By using our services, you acknowledge and agree:

  • You are the rightful owner or authorized agent of all garments/items submitted.
  • You are responsible for checking garment care labels and informing us of any special instructions.
  • Items will be cleaned using industry-standard processes and best practices based on item labels and condition.
  1. Pickup and Delivery Services

We offer scheduled pickup and delivery services within designated zones in Canton, MI.

By opting in, you agree to:

  • Be available or provide accessible drop-off/pickup locations at the scheduled time.
  • Ensure all items are securely placed in the provided laundry bags or suitable containers.
  • Understand that missed pickups without prior notice may result in a fee or rescheduling delay.

We are not responsible for items lost or damaged due to incorrect pickup/drop-off instructions or unsecured locations.

  1. Turnaround Time

We strive to return your items within our standard turnaround windows:

  • Wash & Fold: 24–48 hours
  • Dry Cleaning: 48–72 hours
  • Shoe Services & Alterations: May vary depending on the item; typically 3–5 business days

Expedited services may be available for an additional fee. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, holidays, or unforeseen operational issues.

  1. Garment Care and Liability

We follow industry standards and reasonable care in handling your garments. However, you acknowledge the following risks:

  • We are not responsible for damage resulting from manufacturer defects, weak fabrics, or care label inconsistencies.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service on items we deem unsafe or unsuitable for cleaning.

Loss/Damage Policy:

  • If an item is lost or irreparably damaged, compensation will be provided based on the Fair Claims Adjustment Guide used by professional dry cleaners (typically capped at 10x the cleaning cost).
  • Claims must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Photographs and receipts may be requested for verification.
  1. Pricing and Payment

Our prices are listed on our website or available in-store and are subject to change without notice. Sales tax will be applied where applicable.

  • Payment is due at the time of service or delivery, unless prearranged otherwise.
  • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payment methods.
  • Late or failed payments may result in service delays or account suspension.
  1. Unclaimed Items

Any item not claimed within 60 days of the ready-for-pickup date may be considered abandoned and donated or discarded. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before this occurs.

  1. Customer Conduct

You agree to treat our team and facilities with respect. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior.

  1. Website Use

By using our website or booking services online, you agree not to:

  • Misuse the site for fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
  • Reproduce, copy, or exploit any part of the site without permission

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

  • Misuse of rewards programs may result in forfeiture of points or account termination.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Drip Dry Cleaner shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in or nearest to Canton, MI.
